What's on the label.
Fee prices are pulled live. Transaction sizes are typical values, listed below so you can check them. Your own transaction may differ by contract, route and wallet.
EVM chains
gas units × eth_gasPrice, read from public RPC nodes, multiplied by the native coin's dollar price from DefiLlama (ETH, BNB, POL, AVAX). eth_gasPrice is the node's own suggestion: base fee plus a typical tip.
Rollup data fees
Base and Optimism charge extra for posting to Ethereum: we ask each chain's GasPriceOracle.getL1Fee(bytes) for a typically sized transaction. Arbitrum hides that cost inside gas, so we run eth_estimateGas with that many calldata bytes and count the gas above 21,000 + 16 × bytes. Bytes are deliberately incompressible, so this leans high.
Solana
5,000 lamports × signatures + CU limit × CU price. CU prices are sampled from one recent finalized block: every non-vote transaction's SetComputeUnitPrice value (missing = 0), summarised as median, 75th and 90th percentile. Priority is billed on CU requested, not CU used.
Rent is a deposit, not a fee
New Solana accounts must hold a minimum balance, read live with getMinimumBalanceForRentExemption. That SOL sits in the account and comes back when the account is closed, so we list it on its own line and never fold it into the price.
The fine print.
Prices change by the minute
Rollup data fees track Ethereum blob and gas prices and can multiply tenfold when things get busy. Mainnet gas moves constantly. Each figure carries its own timestamp; treat it as a snapshot.
Tips are optional
Plenty of Solana transactions pay no priority fee. When the network is crowded, a tip helps you land sooner. Jito tips are separate transfers and are not counted. Choose the tip level that fits your hurry.
Network fee only
A swap also costs DEX fees, slippage and price impact, which often outweigh the network fee. A mint adds the collection's own price. This page prices the chain's fee and Solana rent deposits, nothing else.
